  • Years Conducted: 2019 (Mid-Term) and 2021 (Summative)
  • Scope & Methods:
    • Comprehensive assessment of programme implementation, outputs, outcomes, and impacts.
    • Utilized mixed-methods: document reviews, interviews, direct observation, quantitative analysis.
  • Objectives:
    • Determine programme impacts on smallholder farmer livelihoods.
    • Evaluate achievement of contracted programme indicators.

2. Impact Evaluation: Limpopo Provincial Treasury Internal Audit Technician Learnership

    • Mixed-method evaluation including document analysis, interviews, and focus groups.
    • Analysis of audit performance data and departmental outcomes.

3. Louis Dreyfus Foundation Small-scale Maize Training Programme Impact Evaluation

  • Client: TechnoServe South Africa (TNS)
  • Location: Ga-Sebati Village, Polokwane Municipality, Limpopo Province
  • Year: 2019
  • Scope & Methods:
    • Document reviews, interviews with extension officers and farmers, and focus group discussions.
    • Analysis of agricultural productivity, income, and livelihood impacts.
  • Objectives:
    • Verify achievement of programme goals and targets.
    • Assess impacts on the productivity and economic conditions of 120 smallholder maize farmers.

4. Formative Evaluation: Substance Abuse Interventions, City of Tshwane

  • Client: Gauteng Province Department of Community Services (subcontracted by Kgokagano Trading)
  • Location: City of Tshwane, Gauteng Province
  • Scope & Methods:
    • In-depth qualitative research and stakeholder consultations.
    • Identification of implementation barriers and exploration of effective additional measures.
  • Objectives:
    • Evaluate effectiveness in reducing substance abuse and related crimes.
    • Recommend strategies to bolster programme implementation.
